James Suckling Top 100 Australian wines for 2024

We were priveliged to be included in the recent publication of James Suckling's Top 100 Australian wines for 2024.

We received two listings - at number 28 the SRH Chardonnay 2023 and at number 92 the De La Terre Pinot Noir 2019.

The last bottles of SRH are available on the online store and the DLT is not currently available but will be released as a museum release in the coming years, jump on the mailing list for first access.

SRH 2023

97 points - The nose has mineral depth with underlying power, showing aromas of lemon confit, orange blossoms and struck match. The palate is medium- to full-bodied with notes of kaffir limes, creme brulee, sweet spices and chalk. Made from a selection of 12 rows planted in 1976. Exceptional. Drink or hold. Screw cap

DLT 2019

95 points - Savory and minerally with notes of wild blackberries, tobacco leaves and wet earth. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and bright acidity, plus a saline edge showing notes of blackcurrants, raspberry bush, mocha and cassia bark. Will integrate nicely in years to come. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
